How does it work?

For windows, magnetic reed switches are commonly used, which consist of two components—one attached to the window frame and the other to the movable part of the window. When the window is closed, the components are in close proximity, signaling that the window is shut. When the window is opened, the components separate, triggering the sensor.
2. Communication with the Air Conditioning System: The sensors are connected to the air conditioning switch/control unit either through wired or wireless connections. When a sensor detects an open window or door, it sends a signal to the control unit.
3. Automatic Shutdown: Upon receiving the signal indicating that a window or door has been opened, the control unit initiates the shutdown sequence for the air conditioning system. This may involve turning off the compressor, adjusting the thermostat to a less energy-intensive setting, or completely powering down the system, depending on the programming and capabilities of the switch.
4.
